A.    REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

 

All media representatives are required to prepare the following documents:

 

a.                 General Documents:

1.     Visa Application Form

      Please contact the nearest Indonesian embassies or consulates to obtain your visa application form. The list of Indonesian embassies/consulates can be accessed in https://kemlu.go.id/portal/en/page/29/kedutaan_konsulat

2.     Valid passport that will remain valid for at least 6 (six) months beyond the date of entry in Indonesian territory.

3.     2 identical passport-style photos (photos should be 4x6 cm in size, portrait mode, with a plain white background and printed on high-quality paper)

4.     Proof of return flight ticket to home country or other planned destination

5.     Certificate of a complete dose of COVID-19 vaccination.

      To qualify under the fully vaccinated status, a person must have received all recommended doses in their primary series of COVID-19 vaccine, a booster dose is not required. The Indonesian government accepts COVID-19 vaccines within WHO Emergency Use Listings (EUL) as well as Gamaleya (Sputnik V), CanSinoBio (As5-nCoV (Convidecia)), Anhui Zhifei Longcom (Zifivax ZF2001), and BioKangtai (Kconecavac).

6.     Travel insurance document covering COVID-19 care

7.     Signed Statement Letter of Compliance of Covid-19 Procotol (click here to download the file)

8.     Visa fee of USD 50 for Visa application at the Indonesian mission

 

b.    Additional Documents for Journalist:

1.   Approved media accreditation/registration from the UNDRR (GP2022 Secretariat)

2.   Official GP2022 invitation letter. Note that this letter will be sent by the Indonesian Government (BNPB) after approval of GP2022 registration through the Indico system.

3.   Letter of Sponsorship GP2022 Coverage by the Media Company addressed to the Indonesian Missions (purpose of journalist visit, places to be visited/covered, dates/schedule of coverage)

4.   Media company profile

5.   Curriculum Vitae

6.   List of equipment (s) (description, weight, value, country of origin)

 

 

B.    VISA APPLICATION MECHANISM

 

All media representatives with regular passport holders can bring the required documents listed above to the nearest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate General to obtain a visa.
